THE PLOT:

A routine mission to disarm bombs on a remote island discovers a terrifying secret forgotten about since the mid-fifties. A strange unfriendly creature who don't like people and wants them all dead.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Now the first two movies of this series was less then excellent and this third installment isn't going to win any awards on this site either but I got to admit as story, acting and effects go, it's the best. Far better then the British crap that started this series. The cast does a great job and the plot is basic but workable. All and all a solid 9 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I disagree, even though I agree with this being a pretty good movie I don't think it's better then the second movie. I think they could have done more with the alien's backstory and there are character issues. 8 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (Basic but works.)
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The creature effects are clever.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- BACKSTORY (I think they could have done more backstory on the alien.)
- MINOR CHARACTER ISSUES (There are minor character issues.)

- FAN BASED (If you didn't like the first two movies, then I doubt you like this one.)
