THE PLOT:

The first maned space trip to Mars brings back more then rocks and soil samples. While re-entering the atmosphere, the three astronauts are attacked by something they brought with them. Something like the alien DNA that allowed us to create Sil.

One of the astronauts named Patrick Ross is now a male human alien Hybrid and is on the lose, going after women. Every woman Patrick seduces or rapes has a fatal and instant pregnancy. They use the second embryo that they were studying under guard they named Eve to track Patrick down, but will it be in time?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I got to admit, that this was as good as the first movie, we get to see what the male of the species would look like in Patrick and there is this great shot when Patrick tries to commit suicide by blowing his head off with a double barrel shotgun and it grows back. The coolest shots of the entire movie. The characters are well written like the first movie and the monster design is cool. It drags on at points but hey, what's perfect. So all and all I feel that if you liked the first movie then I think that you will enjoy this one. However if you didn't enjoy the first movie then watch out for this one. 9 STARS out of 10.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I got to admit that Zedd is right again! Twice in one day, who knew it was possible. Anyway, I totally agree with this movie and really can't add much to this review other then if you have seen the first movie and haven't seen the sequel, then see it. 9 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (Like the first movie, the creature effects are cool.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CHARACTERS (Well written characters.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ MALE OF THE SPECIES (I liked looking at the male of the species.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- DRAGS ON (It does get draggy at points.)

- FAN BASED (A must see for all fans of the first movie, but avoid it if you aren't a fan of the first movie.)
