THE PLOT:

A cross country trip to a new apartment in a new city is a wonderful memory. A memory that will make then think, we should have taken a plane. For the wrong flat tire at the wrong rest stop picks up the wrong hitchhikers. Hitchhikers in the form of Kriets. Yep, the Critters have hatched a new brand of trouble makers and landed smack dab into squatting in the apartment building where the family moves in and start dining on the renters.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I got to admit, I re-watched this as of late and had no clue that Leonardo DiCaprio was in it. But I thought he always looked familiar in his more girly movies like WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE and TITANIC. (Don't get me wrong I liked Titanic.) It was still kind of girly until the ship sinks and people started dying. But Critters 3? Never thought of him a cool monster movie. As you may or may not be aware of yet. But I liked the first two Critters movies. This is no exception, but I got to admit, there is nothing really new in this one, except for the location of the monsters, an apartment building. Nothing really amazing happens in this. But it's still fun and still worth watching, just for Leo. 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I have to disagree somewhat with what Zedd wrote. I agree that it's nothing we haven't seen before and in my opinion that kind of hurt my opinion of it. We've seen them talking, we've seen them drinking the dish soap. Nothing really stunning. It gets to the point where it was almost boring. So I will have to give it 7 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ LEO (Leonardo DiCaprio's first major movie and it's so cool that it's a monster movie.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ CRITTERS (The critters are cool.)
+ LOCATION (Squatting critters.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- NOTHING NEW (The critters really don't do anything that they haven't done before.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you didn't like the first two movies, or don't like Leo. Then this isn't the movie for you.)
