THE PLOT:

When an alien ship crash lands in the desert, the crew of the ship leave the safety of the ship in order to find help repairing it. But to do so, they require to blend in, so they borrow the form of people passing by in order to find the materials they need in order to repair the ship.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I got to admit I'm not a fan of Ray Bradbury, I find his stories drab and predictable for the most part and his view on real aliens is very narrow minded for a science fiction writer. But as for how this movie came out. I got to admit the creature effects are impressive, what we see of the creature, which isn't much. I also liked the fact the aliens were evil out to take the planet or eat us like so many other movies of the time period. Like THIS ISLAND EARTH and THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, the alien although never named was a good alien only wanting to fix his ship. So, as a whole I must give this movie a seven OUT OF POSSIBLE TEN STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd on this, this is a dry and slow movie and I do wish they showed more of the alien in his true form. I wish the alien had a name, but these are the things they weren't big on in the 50's. 7 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (What they were of them.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ FRIENDLY ALIEN (It's always nice to see a nice alien.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- MORE (I wish we saw more of the alien in the normal form.)
- SLOW (It's a tad slow.)
- NAME (Wish the alien had a name.)

- FAN BASED (IF you aren't a big fan Bradbury, then this isn't for you.)
