THE PLOT:

Tom Beck investigates a series of bizarre crimes where normal people with no criminal records start going on crime sprees, murder, theft, the whole nine yards. Then he meets Lloyd Gallagher, who claims to be an FBI agent and there is a reason why the crime spree. He finally confesses that he is an alien and the fugitive is a strange alien parasite that gets into the body and kills the host when it takes over and the only way to kill the alien parasite is to kill the host body and kill it as it retreats. But Tom and Lloyd find that is hard then they think.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

The story of the cop buddy picture isn't new, not even in 1987 it wasn't a new. But THE HIDDEN is a new twist on an old concept. The alien and the human cop bonding to stop the alien menace that's out to conquer the world and it almost impossible to stop is cool. The acting is cool, the chemistry between the two lead actors works. The story is cool, the creature effects what you see of them is cool. Now comes to my complaint, I wish they had showed more of the alien and that it had a name other then it was a criminal that likes hot chicks and fast cars and does what it wants when it wants. But that's a minor complaint as a whole, this is a really fun movie that is worth watching time and time again. I know I've seen it several times. 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd again on this one, this is an eighties classic in every sense of the word. The acting, the effects, the story are all first rate. I really don't have much to add to this review except 8 STARS as well.
